In Sword of Convallaria PvP, certain strategies are deemed so powerful they must be checked by house rules. Because there is more than one kind of player, there is more than one way to play! Below are the most common formats you will encounter playing this game.

Standard:
-Pickban
-Minecart Map (unless otherwise specified)
-No Tarot
-Tristan's L3 Skill, "Fervent Lunge" is banned
-Rawiyah SP's L7 Skill, "Gale Sword - Chaotic Flurry"
-Saffiyah SP's L1 Skill, "Frontline Command"
-Kvare's L11 Skill, "Now is the Time for Rain"

This format is the standard format for PvP according to Gloria's Hall. Tarot is banned, and what that means is you cannot pick up the Tarot playing card in the middle of the map. You can destroy the supply box. Banned Skills are also indicated by a ⃠ symbol on their character pages here on Gloria's Hall.

No Tarot:
-Pickban
-Minecart Map (unless otherwise specified)
-No Tarot

In this format, you must never pick up the Tarot card. Anything else is allowed.

Unlimited:
-Anything Goes, no restrictions

Playing this format is a great way to learn why there's a No Tarot format.

Commander:
-4v4
-You must bring one character with a leader aura
-Each of the 3 other characters must share a faction with your leader aura character.

This format is mostly for fun.
